Whether you are graduating from a community college, rethinking your original college choice, or starting anew, Spring Hill College is the next step in your journey toward professional and personal success.
Your Transfer Team
At Spring Hill, you will have a team of people across campus to work with you on:
- Transferability of courses – We will give you a timely response to let you know how much credit you will receive toward the general education requirements for degree completion, as well as toward the requirements in your major field.
- Academic advising – You will have an academic advisor who will work with you one-on-one to assist in planning your courses to degree completion.
- Career counseling – We understand that the prospect of graduation looms much closer for you than it does for first-time freshmen. Our Career Development Office will assist in making sure you are on the right path to reach your academic and career goals.
- Affordability – A college education is a major investment, and Spring Hill College can help make that investment affordable through a combination of scholarships, grants and other financing options.
After being accepted to Spring Hill, you will be automatically considered for merit scholarships. Transfer scholarships range from $14,000 to $26,000 annually and are renewable during your time on The Hill.
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships
Transfers from two-year colleges who are members of Phi Theta Kappa can be considered for the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship; $3,000. This scholarship is in addition to your merit-based award and is renewable for your years on The Hill.
To see what credits you are currently taking at any college/university, you can email a copy of your transcripts to Michelle Betts (email@example.com). She will send you an evaluation of credits and can help plan future coursework at your current college/university.
Spring Hill also provides assistance to students who demonstrate need as indicated on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. File the FAFSA and list Spring Hill’s code 001041 as one of your college choices. More than 90 percent of Spring Hill’s students receive some sort of financial aid in the form of scholarships, grants, loans and federal work-study.
