U.S. News & World Report ranks Spring Hill College 18th Best Regional University in the South

MOBILE, Ala. – Spring Hill College is ranked among the top 20 Southern universities, according to the 2015 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges.”

Spring Hill is ranked 18th in the Best Regional Universities in the South category, a listing of institutions that offer a full range of undergraduate majors and master’s programs.

Four incoming freshmen are recipients of the Spring Hill Scholars award, Spring Hill College’s most prestigious academic scholarship.

Recipients epitomize the well-rounded Spring Hill student and are chosen based on academic performance, leadership, service and a competitive interview. Those selected to receive the Spring Hill Scholar award receive a full-tuition and comprehensive fees scholarship worth more than $120,000 over four years.

Spring Hill student group to visit Cuba in June

Mobile, Ala. -- Four Spring Hill College students will spend 18 days in Cuba learning about that country’s economy, education and tourism industry.

The students and their advisor, Spring Hill study abroad director Dr. Robert Harding, will join students from Indiana University for the trip that begins June 1. Harding is presently teaching a course on Cuba as part of the college’s first summer session of classes.
